MEMBERSHIP
POLICIES
1. Sale or transfer of Certificates is subject to the prior approval of the Board of Directors.
2. Life Memberships are available to certificate holders and entitle such Member and spouse full Club privileges for the balance of their lives. This includes unmarried dependent children under the age of twenty-two (22) and still considered a student in good standing. The Board of Directors will determine the cost of a Life Membership when a request for such a Membership is made.
3. Full Family Memberships are available to certificate holders at an annual cost of $870.00. The Member, spouse, and all unmarried dependent children under the age of twenty-two (22) and still considered a student in good standing are entitled to Club privileges for the current year. Individuals have the option of not holding a certificate and paying an additional $25.00 per year fee.
4. Single Golf Memberships are available to certificate holders at an annual cost of $665.00. The Member is entitled to Club privileges, while the spouse and all unmarried dependent children under the age of twenty-two (22) and still considered a student in good standing are entitled only to Clubhouse privileges for the current calendar year. Individuals have the option of not holding a certificate and paying an additional $25.00 per year fee.
5. Student golf Memberships are available to any student in good standing who has not turned twenty-two (22) years of age for an annual cost of $220.00. A high school student who is on a golf team will receive a discount of $50.00 off of the $220.00. The student Member, at age 22, may not transfer that Membership to a single golf or full family golf Member without paying one half of the current initiation fee. Student Members are not allowed the following:
a. Use of the Clubhouse for private parties.
b. To bring guests, including parents or family Members.
c. Playing privileges on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) before 4:00 p.m. until at least 16 years of age, unless accompanied by an adult and Member of the Club, or if a parent is a golfing Member of the Club.
d. Participation in Friday night scrambles, Calcutta’s, and the Okaw Tournament unless 18 years of age.
6. New Full Family Golf Memberships and Single Golf Memberships must pay an initiation fee of $200.00. A former Full Family Golf or Single Golf Member may rejoin one time without paying an initiation fee. A present Full Family Golf or Single Golf Member is allowed to drop their Membership one time only and rejoin without paying an initiation fee. Dependent children who were Members under the Full Family Golf Membership who have reached the age of twenty-two (22) and Junior Golf Members who have reached the age of twenty-two (22) and no longer qualify for this type of Membership may change their Membership status (i.e., become Full Family Golf or Single Golf Members) by paying dues for the Membership and one half of the current initiation fee.
7. When new applicants apply for Membership it is required that payment for such Membership, initiation fee and any other fees that apply to that type of Membership be sent with the application.
8. Ministers will receive a $100.00 discount on any Golf Membership and $15.00 discount on a Social Membership.
9. Social Memberships are available to those approved with an annual cost of $280.00. The Member, spouse, and all unmarried children under the age of twenty-two (22) and still considered a student in good standing are entitled to Clubhouse privileges only for the current calendar year.
10. Corporate Memberships are for businesses at the cost of $545. This is good for 20 rounds of golf only on Monday-Friday and not during league play. The cost includes $25.00 per year fee and $100.00 food coupons.
11. Complimentary golf privileges will be granted to Club Manager and Greens keeper, their married spouse and dependent children living at home. Any other employee of the Club will have golfing privileges on Mondays or any other day after 5:00 p.m. Golfing privileges are not extended to any employee of the Club Manager.
12. A $100.00 annual minimum dining room charge is imposed on all Full Family Golf, Single Golf and Social Membership. Upon payment of dues, the Member will be sent or given a food coupon card in the amount of $100.00. Each Member may use the coupon even if a total bill is less than $10.00. Cards will be punched each time they are used.
13. Additional food coupons (Bogey Bucks) may be purchased from the club manager.
14. Cart stalls for the storage of privately owned powered carts may be available to Members only at an annual fee of $195.00 for the current calendar year. If a cart stall is assigned to a Member after July 1 of the current calendar year, the fee for the balance of the current calendar will be $110.00. A Member will be charged $110.00 per year if he owns a cart but does not store the cart at the Club. Effective November 1, 2000 - In order to retain cart storage you must be a Full Family, Single or Life Member in good standing with dual ownership recorded with the Club Manager. No cart storage will be issued to Student or Social Memberships.
15. Kaskaskia Country Club is not responsible for loss or damage to any personal items left on Club property.
NOTE: To obtain a cart stall, a Member first shall submit in writing a request to be assigned a cart stall. This request shall be given to the Club Manger, who will put the Member’s request on the waiting list. When a cart stall becomes available, the Club Manager shall assign the available cart stall to the first Member on the waiting list. A cart stall may not be transferred by a Member to any other Member, even if the new owner of the cart purchased the cart from a Member who had a cart stall.
