THURSDAY NIGHT MEN’S LEAGUE

LEAGUE RULES AND GUIDELINES

 

1.    Roll the ball anywhere, except hazards. Rake and place in all sand traps. All other KCC rules apply.

 

2.    Blind scores will be 38

 

3.    Scoring is based on a three point system. Low handicaps play each other for one point. High handicaps play each other for another point. Team score goes towards point number three.

 

4.    You must make up league night prior to the follwing Thursday, if both teams agree.

 

5.    Play will be permitted on any prior night to leaguue night, so long as both teams agree.

 

6.    You are required to wait until 5:30 p.m. for your opponents to arrive. Thereafter you may tee off and play your round. Opponents forfeits are not considered automatic wins. IF YOU KNOW YOUR  TEAM IS NOT GOING TO BE PRESENT PLEASE LEAVE WORD AT THE CLUBHOUSE AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.

                      A. Teams must have at least one team member each week or they forfeit

 

7.    Dues are now $75.00 for the year, which $2.00 per player comes out for secretary fees. A five week grace period is allowed to have your dues paid in full.  The first night of league a $30.00 pre-payment must be made.  Your cooperation in this matter is most appreciated.

 

8     RAINOUT RULES

              *   If course is closed  league is cancelled

              *   5:30 will be the latest time that a decision will be made declaring a rainout

              *   Rainout decisions will be made by a committee of three to be selected by the league president at beginning of the year

              *   There will be no make ups of rainouts

 

9.    All teams will use golf carts. NO WALKING

 

10.  Any club member may sub in this league. If no established handicap, use blind score of 38. Any team

        that uses someone or starts the season with someone that has no established handicap must use the blind score. Thereafter his league score/scores will used as a floating handicap until his KCC handicap is established.

 

11.  League scores will posted by the president every two weeks/ two scores will constitute a posted score.
